Hello again,
Let's get this out of the way: I'm sorry for putting out two updates so close to one another. I really don't mean to spam, so I'll make this quick.
I messed up.
I realized a few days ago that every sample for 'A God in the Shed' that I had posted so far except for the prologue was from an earlier draft. This annoys me for a variety of reasons.
The last one really gets me.
That being said; I've removed all the old material and replaced it with fresh samples. Everything is separated by chapter and goes up to chapter 9 like before. These are still subject to change in the final draft as I'm not 100% satisfied with everything (especially chapter 4. There's something about the flavour of that one that bugs me.) but at least now you have a better idea of the tone I'm going for.
I apologize for the lost comments and notes.
Thank you once more for your support
JF

Greetings sentients!
I come to you with some interesting news: I’m going to be participating on a panel about crowdfunded publishing and talking about my experience with Inkshares. I’m super excited about this and I’m very much looking forward to it. I’m eager to see what my fellow panelist (Hayden Trenholm and Ira Nayman) will bring to the table also. The panel will be moderated by Caroline Frechette.
The panel will be held at Can*Con on November 1st at 2pm. If you’re in the area and attending the convention, come and see me. Or if you’re not attending but would still like to hang out, I’ll be hanging out with friends and fans at the Ottawa downtown Three Brewers restaurant/bar starting at 5h30pm on October 31st. Come say ‘hi’ and get a free signed print of something.
Final obligatory cross-promotion plug: Don’t forget to check out my other book that’s currently funding on Inkshares, ‘A God in the Shed’. Trust me, it’s worth your time.
Thanks again for your support friends. It truly is appreciated.
Cheers,
JF
