      How am I holding on to the Top 10?

      Because of you my friends. Because of you.

      I don't have much to say today that wouldn't be the same old redundant platitudes. Every morning I wake up and look at the rankings and every morning I'm surprised that out of over 200 entries in this contest, I'm still in the top 5%. It is incredibly humbling and I am grateful to each and every one of you. Whether you've pre-ordered three books or you're just hanging out and watching the show.

      However, let's be honest, if you bought a book, I love you more than if you didn't. Does that hurt your feelings person-that-didn't-pre-order-yet? There's a button at the bottom of this page that will solve that problem.

      Teasing aside, I do bring good tidings. Well, besides the continued success of this campaign. I have made a video. In fact, I have made a new cover for A God in the Shed and from that art I have made a video. A book trailer. You can watch it here, on the book's page. Marvel as the illustration takes life right before your eyes! Share with friends so they too can mock my feeble efforts at a convincing narration.

              Most little girls want to be a princess when they grow up. I didn't. My interests back then consisted of mainly music and dance and not a whole lot more. Before I could form a nice little fantasy of growing up to be a pop star at around age 6 or 7, an older girl told me during play time that you could get paid to dance and take off your clothes. I was amazed! Here was something I loved to do and I could get paid for it! I went straight home to tell my mum of my future career choice. Needless t. . .
