Huh... awesome! This chapter ends so perfectly, man. I know much about the character's past, I know much about him in the present, and I can tell, that with this detail right here, there is still more to learn. Above all, I can tell this is a guy who's not afraid of trouble. Perhaps, in fact, he seeks it out, for sh*ts and giggles maybe. This will be one helluva book.

      Tony V. beat me to the punch on this one... but I'd like to highlight the whole damn paragraph as being absolutely stellar writing. Besides having an engaging story (and this character's voice, man!), you've also got some helluva philosophy working in under it all.
