I read the excerpt, and wish I hadn’t.  Why?  Because I want more of this story!  Very well written, the story is fast paced and urges the reader forward with every sentence.  Can’t wait for more.

Very nicely done here, this grips your reader and makes them need to find out what happens/what happened.

This is also very well done. Well written and it really lets me know what Ven was feeling and thinking in that moment.

Not a deep belly laugh, nor a cold and mean spirited laugh, no - it was the kind of laugh that makes you feel the fool for believing a fantasy. The kind that comes of a sudden and dies off just as quick. It cut him the worse for it.
