Thanks, Leo. Yeah, I reached out and gave them the info. of those supporters who are having the issues, but just wanted to see if any other writers were having the same issues. Every order counts, right? :)
Hey, Matt, great start! You drew me into this world of Farrow Point and kept me reading to see what happens next.
Now if you are still in draft mode with the rest of the book, this isn’t something to worry about now, but when you get to revision stage and look to tighten the narrative and torque up the tension even more, one place to start will be with trimming character backstory/life story. Case in point: when Dean is slouched in his rocking chair in Chapter One. Also with Sarah and Harlow at the start of Chapter 2 before his radio crackles.
Tragedy swallows an idyllic small town when a boy is found dead atop the local lighthouse. While hunting for his killer, a young detective who harbors her own destructive secret discovers a threat that could unravel the very fabric of reality.
