PUBLICATION DAY!!!

It's finally here! I know this is probably old news to you guys, since many of you have already read the book, but today The Body of Chris is now available in all formats and on all platforms! I'm going to ask one more time for y'all to help me spread the word:

  1. Please share the Amazon link (currently #1 New Release in Eating Disorder Self-Help): http://www.amazon.com/Body-Chris-Obsession-Addiction-Madness/dp/1941758142/
  2. Please rate/review on Amazon (click here) and Goodreads (click here).
  3. Don't forget to hashtag #thebodyofchris, so we can get this thing trending!
  4. If you have any other ideas for getting the word out, please email me (click here).

Thank you for making this dream a reality!

I'm excited to share with you that I am officially now a blogger for the International Bipolar Foundation! Here's a link to my first blog, titled, "Is Mania a Spiritual Experience?"

    http://www.ibpf.org/blog/mania-spiritual-experience

When the editor received my entry, she said, "I didn’t expect you to integrate spirituality and mania. I hadn’t heard that perspective before. Usually it seems more black and white."

Less black and white; I'd say that's a good thing! Thanks again for the support.

Y'all, it is exactly one week from publication (September 1st). That's one week until everyone has access to The Body of Chris, the freakin' project you made possible! You should be proud of what we've created. I'm indebted to all of you.

Since we are a week out, I want to make it as easy as possible for you to help. The initial buzz around the book has a great deal to do with the following:
      1. Rate/review The Body of Chris on Goodreads (click here). Goodreads is a huge, growing social media site for book sharing. You can login with an email, Facebook or Twitter account. You can choose how many stars, and if inclined, select the popup option to leave a review.
      2. Rate/review The Body of Chris on Amazon (click here). Amazon is the top book retailer, and reviews boost rankings, visibility, and readers' opinions. Last week, The Body of Chris was the #1 New Release in both the Bipolar and Eating Disorders genres, and I think we can do it again!
      3. Share on Social Media. I can't tell you how many people have been reaching out to me about the book because of your shares on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. I've had people I don't even know contact me with encouragement because of social media. It has been awesome and inspiring!
Here are the best links to copy/paste to social media:

I can't thank y'all enough. Inkshares is working hard to get the word out upon publication, and your help will assure that The Body of Chris gains traction in the coming days.

Hey Austin, thanks for the comment! I'm excited to hear you're enjoying the read. I tried to layer the book with "psychological underpinnings" so that the novice and expert would both find it intriguing. I'm looking forward to your thoughts upon completion.
