James Rasile liked Cries of Battle: Selstra
I’ve done it...I’ve posted for pre-orders and I’m actually looking forward to trying to sell my novel. If you haven’t checked out at least one of the chapters, I recommend you do so. It is a draft, so there will be errors, but I aim to correct those in the final.

The smoke from her cigarette drifted through the falling snow, floating up toward the streetlamp. Across the way, the buildings’ windows were dark, making the flat, gray stones shine like ghosts in the orange fluorescent light. In the distance the young woman could hear a temple bell ringing, breaking the silence of the winter’s night.

It would be no surprise to her mother if Charlene stayed another night at the shop. Bernice was sure she couldn’t carry the workload her husband lef. . .

James Rasile liked an update for Mission 51

I have essentially completed the chapter previously titled "Mat." The name of the chapter has now changed to "Mat and Dirk," though who knows, it may change again on a fickle whim. ;-)

The first two parts of the book serve to establish Mat’s "humanity." (Picture me doing big air quotes with my fingers.) It has been fun doing that, and I really want you to be able to read it some day. But I don’t think I will upload this chapter. In fact, from now on I may be just uploading excerpts instead of entire chapters, you know, to build  suspense/anticipation and stuff.

The fun really builds after the crash at the end of the second part of the story. That you really don’t want to miss, and I really won’t be uploading any more chapters from the third part of the book!

So just help ease my anxiety and place your pre-order, so the book sees the light of day, and you get to read about the crazy shit that happens to Mat!

If you have already pre-ordered, again I thank you, and ask you to:

          • point a friend this way, or
          • write a review, or
          • make an Inkshares recommendation, or
          • all of the above.

I do believe that together we can reach the 250 pre-order mark to get Mission 51 published.

          Thank you, everyone!

          Peace and love!

          Ferd. :-)

            Well.

            It’s been a good run.

Thank you to those who have supported this project. We will continue to work the manuscript, and it shall return. It will revert back to a draft and we will relaunch in the future.

Cam and the crew will continue.

James Rasile liked an update for Tears of the Assassin

Hey Everybody. I wish to thank everyone for their support for Tears of the Assassin. The campaign will officially come to an end this Saturday May 14th. I know there are some followers out there that wanted to place an order in order to get an original signed copy of the book on its first printing and those folks should place their pre order before the end of the day on Saturday.

Any others considering supporting the campaign in its original version, I will thank you very much for your order. I hope everyone who reads this has a wonderful weekend. Thank you
