There is something quite brave and unique about the structure of the narrative of this piece. I don’t mean simply the subject matter, but also the method with which it is handled. The internal conflict within the characters is shown through action.

"It's All Fun and Games" occupies a space on my bookshelf next to a growing number of Inkshares authors, and I don't know of a higher testimony than this. In regards to the sequel, all Barrett needs to do is do what he already has demonstrated he can do.

While I cannot say for certain in what direction this work is headed, what I can tell is a rich world with inherent internal and external conflict, which will definitely bring the reader into a three dimensional world.

From the haunting knowledge of a the protagonist, to the hidden depth at the world we only see through shadow, Brun brings readers in on what promises to be a thrilling ride.
