    This is a little confusing. For a second, I wasn’t sure Lauren was speaking until after the second sentence... and... also, I wasn’t sure why she said "stop." Are the scissors really causing that much discomfort? I think some more detail might be needed here.

      Hmm. Alyssa? Seems kind of... normal. The other names seem to have an otherworldly quality (Aithne, Karita), but Alyssa just sounds... out of place.
