Antimony Noon commented on an excerpt of The Spark Internal
I would mention his name straight away and connect the reader to the protagonist in the first line.

I definitely make playlists for when I’m writing - anything that brings to mind the mood of the piece or something that inspires me.  My Spotify playlist for Fae Child is here: https://open.spotify.com/user/jainhollie/playlist/2lKm76acJkwwFzXs0yMqAg

@#;[÷ Antimony Noon.  This is what hidden fantasy in the modern world looks like when done successfully.  I am invested in all three of your characters already.  You get all these little glimpses into these personalities without ever making it obvious.

I even feel connected to your Assasssin character.  Clearly he has his demons, if the mini bar is any indication.  So distant and yet still made human.  I want moooore.

Antimony Noon created a forum thread: Writing Playlists
This is just a thing of general curiosity - does anybody else have writing playlists?

I have one playlist for general writing and then occasionally make ones for specific moods or characters - I’m curious to know if anybody else does the same thing!

Antimony Noon sent an update for Spectrum

Thank you to everyone following so far - Spectrum has now hit 25 followers! I released the new draft cover art a little early, so the next bit of extra content will be at either 30 followers or 5 pre-orders; whichever comes first!

Once Spectrum reaches either of those goals, I’ll be doing some character art for Nia, the protagonist of chapter one, Synergist; so please share and if you are a follower who hasn’t pre-ordered yet, please consider doing so!

Things are progressing well. I’m working on the final self-edit of the book right now and this is what my room looks like. I’ve color coded different themes or characters so I can ’see’ them all at once. Pre-orders are coming in steadily as well. We are inching toward 500 (at which point I’ll post the final sample chapter). I’m going to continue to push to reach 750, but, frankly, I’m running out of people to reach out to and there are less than two weeks left in the campaign. ILLEGAL will be published, but to get the deeper edit and marketing I desire, to make this the best book possible, I need your help. If everyone reading this could convince just one new person to purchase then we would reach full funding. So, please, if there is anyone in your life who you think may be interested, please do pass this on to them and get them to pre-order a copy. Thanks so much everyone!

The horribly disfigured features of the hill giant’s face were contorted with agony as his head sailed through the air, trailing blood and bits of gore like the tail of a comet. Gorith the Walking Disaster, as the hill giant was known in the valley, fell to his knees as his decapitated ten-foot tall body finally died and then fell forward into the muddy courtyard in front of the tavern.

All eyes in town rested on the strange dwarf who had e. . .
