End of day 3, and I’ve got 10 orders! Feels good! Feels shiny! Makes me wanna say Unh!

If I keep up this pace, Quill’s in the bag. How do I do that again...? Oh yeah! Beg! You there! Help a dude out! Spread the word! Hit that recommend button. Put your name in the hat.

And nothing comes free. I know it. If you want some help with your project, on or off Inkshares, just let me know! I’ll do what I can.

I suppose my current take on dragons is pretty bestial. In Makhaira for instance they are revered by some and feared by most as scourges of the land.

      Dear Authors,

The end of this week will mark my sixth as CEO of Inkshares.  It’s been a long but exciting six weeks with all-time high-water marks: the most-ever new-author sign-ups as part of the Geek & Sundry Fantasy Contest; the announcement of our first venture into horror with Crypt TV beginning this coming Thursday; the sale of the TV rights for J.F. Dubeau’s A God in the Shed; and the exercise of the TV option for Filip Syta’s The Show.  Yes, The Show will be a show.

As has been actively discussed in both our emails with you, on the Slack channels, and on the forums, the Inkshares royalty structure was modified last month.  I know that my letter to the funded authors has been extensively shared, but some people suggested we share it more broadly, and here it is.

      Adam.

Teenagers go through a lot of s... storm and stress. A thousand stories about teenage depression have already been told, but I guarantee you haven't read one as expertly crafted as "Sunshine is Forever" in a long time. Author Kyle T. Cowan gives his character, Hunter, a truly believable life and an authentic (and prematurely world-weary) voice that expresses it. The first chapter alone will not only leave you wondering what happened to Hunter that made him this way, it will make you sincerely worry over what will happen to him next. ...pretty much exactly like watching a teenager grow up.

real nice flow to this, natural, easy going, a little bit fun, but most of all, interesting. It drew me in.What really brings this to life are the astute observations of human nature, both the good and the bad, with the absolutely relatable character of the kid with the monobrow. Definitely worth a read.
