This felt a little strange to me. It didn’t feel like Lucas would be in a position to threaten Malcolm. Perhaps it was just the idea of him saying this calmly that felt a little at odds with his position? I could certainly imagine him saying it sullenly, as though trying to seem more confident than he actually is.
