Craig A. Munro liked an update for Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken

Good Monday everyone!  I’ve had a ROCKING GOOD WEEKEND!!!  Lots of stuff happened.  The Borehole Bazaar stuff is that I sold 36 COPIES!!!!   This is HUGE news!  I’m well on my way to making Quill, but I still need a little bit more help to get the last bit of the way!

For those of y’all who have picked up 2 or more copies this last week, I’m busily making the spiral bound collection of the short stories for folks.  Most of the stories are hand illustrated, with a bonus secret story that is not.  As always, pre-read anything before having kids read the stories, although they should be pretty good for most ages.  The indented story is this week’s tale, though the rest are present in case you’ve missed anything!

Kiki and the Cantaloupe
Kiki Angers Ambition
Kiki Meets Tranquility
Pretty Girl and Luchadore
Bosco Follows his Nose
Forgiveness in a Latte
A Simple Game
-->;;;;;;;;;;;;  Telles Catches Hope

And, of course, please check out the changes to Borehole Bazaar’s Landing Page!

Now, for the big announcement, and pass it on if you see these folks online or such;

THIS WEEK, WE HIT TWO 25 pre-order benchmarks!!!

the winners are

Dun Dun Dun!!!

Patricia Brunns (150 benchmark) and Ferd Crotte(175 benchmark)!!!!  Congratulations to both of you!  Only 24 more Pre-Orders to the next winner and one entry per pre-order makes for lots of extra chances!!!

    Craig A. Munro liked an update for The Battle Within

    Hi Everybody,

    Apologies for the lack of updates, however, I’ve been taking some time to figure out the way ahead over the next few months. Now that I’ve got a plan, over the course of the next week I’ll roll out some updates about the status and timeline for The Battle Within, as well as some other upcoming activities.

    In the interim, I wanted to confirm that the donation to Soldier On has gone through to the tune of $1500, or $2 / pre-order. In lieu of one of the big cheques (we’ll set up a photo shoot for when physical copies of the book are actually available), please find the next best thing. Thanks again to everyone who pre-ordered, you helped make this happen.

    For those who are interested in non-Battle Within updates, please check out my Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AlastairLuft. More details to come this week!

    Have a great night and a great week,

    Alastair Luft

        Craig A. Munro liked an update for Borehole Bazaar: A Vow Unbroken

        So a friend just sent me this message.  I assume this is partly why a good large number of us do what we do, so I figured I’d share.  Sorry if it’s spammy.

        "You have inspired [my life partner of 3 years] so much with his writing. He is also a fantasy writer. Right now he has been writing like double his average amount while drinking coffee out of his dreams are worth chasing cup.  I just thought you should know. It fills me with happy."

        The Dreams Are Worth Chasing cup is something I’m offering as an extra incentive to folks who let me know they want one.  It just has the spiral from Borehole Bazaar cover art on one side and the words Dreams Are Worth Chasing on the other side.  Comes in glass and painted ceramic.  The painted ceramic is microwave, food and dishwasher safe, except I wrapped the handle in leather, so that might unravel at some point.  If you want one, two pre-orders of any level is the cost, that and you have to let me know your address and that you’re interested in the swag.
