Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for The Catcher's Trap

Dear Friends we reached 750 orders!

Thanks to all of you who have supported me, to those of you who have ordered more than one copy of the book and to those of you who have shared the link with your friends and family.

This means The Catcher’s Trap will become a published book!

I don’t want to be sappy, but I have to (start playing Sarah McLachlan song) The young immigrant who came to this country 15 years ago, barely speaking English but full of hopes and dreams, never thought this dream would come true; thanks to all of you it has.

So now we keep pushing. 43 days to go and 250 more books to sell.

If you have not pre-order a copy of The Catcher’s Trap, please do. If you have already, please spread the word; hitting 1000 copies will be hard!

thanks

    Update #4: Oct 5, 2015

Good Morning everyone! The Nerdist contest is now over, and although there are 42 days (the answer to life, the universe, and everything) left on the TIMESPLICE Inkshares campaign I can say with reasonable certainty that it won't make its goal.

Nevertheless! The funding goal was never something that I reasonably expected to meet, nor is it the reason I am writing this book. I am writing this book because it is something I want to do, and it is something that I want to share.

So this update is to let you know that I will keep doing that. You can continue to follow my updates to TIMESPLICE at http://www.garretrempel.com/ where Chapter 2 has now been posted in its entirety and next Monday the first parts of Chapter 3 will start going live. And also here at Inkshares, as long as this project is active I will continue to post updates. Chapter 4 will be coming to you in 2 weeks time (on Oct 19th) as I am just finishing it up and I want to discuss it with my editor first.

I hope you all have a great week, and thanks for reading!

Brian and Michelle Guthrie commented on Gate-World
An abandoned world without stars or a sun, reachable only by a specially built gate, is colonized by humanity.  They find another inactive gate there.  After several years, the gate activates, and the gate to Earth is cut off.  No one has heard from the colonization team since.

I switched my working title to something a little more suitable. I hope you like the new cover concept art! Thank you for your continued interest.

Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for The Children of the Forest

I've gone through and updated the main page to reflect many of the changes coming to The Children of the Forest. If you haven't had the opportunity yet, check out the new Prologue chapter, read through the new summary, and let me know what you think!

Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for Hellrazor

Hello, everyone.  I've uploaded a new chapter to the tale, this time going all the way back to the beginning:  the Preface to Hellrazor.  I'm staying with the project to the end and hope I can get this book published under the "normal" rules of Inkshares, and hope you all will continue to help me by sharing the project on Facebook and Twitter and, if you can spare the Inkshare credits, ordering more copies of the book.  I believe you can order up to 10 copies that will "count" towards the total and, as you know, I need 1000 pre-orders to guarantee publication.   Thanks and I hope you enjoy the latest upload, "Long Live The King".
