Michael Valdez liked an update for Rise

So there is some news to share.   Rise is going to be an audio-book!  The deal is for Rise and a sequel, in this case Fall.  I can’t wait to get my hands on this.  Definitely will be listening to that on some runs.

In other news, Rise is closing in on 2000 copies sold.  And most of that buzz pushing the sales is coming from you.  Thank you so much!  If you’re reading your copy now, I’d appreciate a "Reading" mark on Goodreads.  And a review when you’re finished would be awesome.

In Fall news, I’m editing act 3 before sending it off to my editor.  After that, I got back and do a rework based on the edits I already have for acts 1 and 2.  If you haven’t pre-ordered your copy, the sooner you do the sooner we can get it into production and in your hands.

You are all awesome!

Michael Valdez liked an update for The Bones of the Past

    Good evening everyone!

I have lots of news to share!

The copy editor finished working through my manuscript a week early, so I’m once again in full editing mode looking over proposed fixes and changes... Probably for the next two weeks. This round is looking at smaller stuff, so it’s more about improving word flow and fixing any remaining grammar mistakes, but also includes catching content that’s out of place or inconsistent. I can already say I’m very happy with the editor’s work and the manuscript is steadily improving even further!

In other news... The designer has come back with the final round of covers! We only have two to choose from this time. He’s incorporated the feedback I gave him and I think the end results are even stronger than before.

The first one is very close to the #3 from last round. The only change is that the ’dust’ effect has been cleaned up a little under the ’P’.

The second one is very close to the #6 from last round but uses the typography from #3.

Thank you all yet again for your continued patience and support!

Michael Valdez liked an update for The Catcher’s Trap

      Hello Friends

In a couple of weeks, you will be holding in your hands a copy of The Catcher’s Trap. I am so excited and grateful for the opportunity you all gave me to share my work and my creativity with you, and I truly hope you enjoy it.

Once you read The Catcher’s Trap, I encourage you to share your thought. Leave a review on Amazon and Goodreads. Post about it on social media. Word of mouth is the best marketing tool.

If you are in Connecticut or close by, join me for the release and Book Signing party on November 10th at 6 pm, at the North Haven Barnes and Noble. Details here.

As The Catcher’s Trap make its way into bookstores across the country I will be concentrating my energy on my other projects, so communications through this channel will dwindle.

I hope you choose to continue following my journey as an author and follow the two projects to which I will be dedicating more of my attention.

The first is The Catcher’s Trap’s sequel Worlds Walker. You can’t pre-order Worlds Walker yet, but if you follow the book, you can get chapters in advance and news about the writing and production process as its move along. Follow Words Walker here.

The second project you may have heard about. My funny and scary drag queen zombie saga Bad Medicine: Slay it, Queen!

Yesterday Bad Medicine was selected as the book of the month by the Snarky Darksy Syndicate. This was an amazing surprise. I had no idea your humble drag queen had been nominated, and the news made my day.

Bad Medicine: Slay it Queen! is competing in the CryptTV contest, and it currently sits in second place. Please help me finish this contest on top. Get your copy today. Getting the $10 e-book or the $20 paperback helps me the same. So please support at any level you can. Order here.

Penny-Lane and I want to thank you for staying by our side through all these months.

      Have a great weekend!
