Hello readers and followers!
I’d like you all to meet Penny Thorne, the badass secret agent protagonist of "To Live and Die in Avalon"!
Professional illustrator Nathan Anderson created this wonderful depiction of Penny and if I’m being honest, I got a little teary-eyed when I saw the finished product! As previously promised, I will be producing three high-quality prints of the above image for the top three referrers. So, if you want to help spread the word, become a part of my "street team" as it were all over the world, then get out there and tell everyone how awesome my book is and get them to pre-order! Remember to use the refer via email link on the project page so I can track the referrals!
The cover art magnets also arrived today! (best day ever, right?) I will be emailing everyone who has already pre-ordered for shipping info. I’ll be sending out a mass email, so please hit "Reply" and not "Reply to all", unless you want everyone to know where you live. If you haven’t pre-ordered and would like a magnet, then get ’em while they’re hot! I only had 250 made, so help me get into Quill, get a piece of literary history and then spread the word so you can have Penny framed and up on your wall!
I also want to say a special thank you to some of my fellow Inkshares authors for their kind words and support: Joseph Asphahani, Michael Haase, Billy O’Keefe, RH Webster, Peter Ryan and John Robin, just to name a few. Here are links to their works, if you haven’t supported them yet:

And here’s a link to Nathan Anderson’s website. I may get him to draw a few more of the characters. A portrait of the eccentric holographic A.I. LOLA would be pretty sweet, methinks.

Thanks again for all the support everyone!

Status Update!
Things are moving along swimmingly with Seven Shards. I had a breakthrough idea last week, which is really going to improve the flow of the first act. And there’s something of a surprise in store for my Super Readers too! (hint: it involves a map)
Next on the agenda is the developmental edits, which will be my focus in April (a camp NaNoWriMo month for those familiar it). After that, I’d like to give the story 2-3 more rounds of edits, before handing it off to Inkshares for their part of production. I’m expecting the publication date to fall somewhere in late winter/early spring of 2017. As we get closer, I will of course update everyone with more specifics.
Oh! While I have you here, I’d like to recommend a couple of other projects, especially to those of you that have credits to spend -
And I’ve said it before, but it never hurts to say it again: Thank You to everyone who has ordered and supported me thus far! It truly means the world :)
Greetings Jackolytes,
Fantastic news! I recently received an email telling me the weight of the Inkshares CEO Syndicate was being thrown behind Sync City - to this syndicate, a heartfelt thank you! Personally, the CEO Syndicate support is tremendously gratifying, but the real part of me knows this would not have been possible without the initial support of more than 100+ readers. You people put the crowd into crowdfunding and your support has been invaluable - a heartfelt thank you to you all as well. There have also been a number of people who have jumped on the back of the Jack Trevayne ride and pushed me along.
To Joe Asphahani, author of world building The Animal in Man www.inkshares.com/books/the-animal-in-man-7699 thanks for kicking me in the ass, getting me moving and offering me encouragement.
To Billy O’Keefe, author of the hilarious These Are My friends on Politics www.inkshares.com/books/these-are-my-friends-on-politics-0985?referral code=fd744cal thanks for showing me the crowdfunding ropes and putting up with my emails.
To Mike Donald, author of the Jack the Ripper-based Louisiana Blood www.inkshares.com/books/louisiana-blood-a-chandler-travis-and-duke-lanoix-mystery?referral code+2c27906f thanks for the positive emails and recommendations.
To Mike Haase, author of the exciting space opera The Madness of Mr. Butler www.inkshares.com/books/the-madness-of-mr-butler?referralcode code=26dce7a3 and William Schiele, author of the thrilling Tears of the Assassin www.inkshares.com/books/tears-of-the-assassin?referral code=f7d54200 thank you for your ongoing support.
If you are looking for a good read, then follow the above links, these authors know how to write!
Finally, the job is far from done. Jack is astride his ride and revving, but more pre-orders are needed. If you can bring others on board: friends, family, co-workers, that would be great. Feel free to click on the following link and re-pre-order or, better yet, bring some new folks into the Sync City fold: www.inkshares.com/books/sync-city?referral code=9f560b73 And if you are following me, but have yet to pre-order, it would be fantastic if you could do so. If you have any questions regarding Sync City, drop me an email at blooryan@gmail.com
Thanks again.
Peter
IT’S OVER 100!
We crossed the 100 mark today, folks, and the orders are still streaming in. This is fantastic progress, and I could only be slightly happier with the results.
The reality is that we are still 50 unique pre-orders away from third place. Because this is a contest, and as we gain support, so do other people. We’ve had 10 every day for a few days now because you’re amazing. Help me make 10 happen in total today for another sample excerpt tomorrow.
So now, as time is quickly running out, I need to know: are you in my crew? We have 5 days left, which makes this mission critical. Today will you commit to sending the order link and a personal recommendation to one more person?
Now, onto so much news!
First! It’s just been confirmed that The Traveller’s Cup will be mentioned on the Sci-Fi Geeks Club Tonight! Thanks to my friend and promo pal JF Dubeau (author of The Life Engineered, which you should immediately check out), we’ve managed to get the folks at Galactic Netcast to feature this humble space book. You can check that out tonight at 9:45pm EST right here: http://gncasts.com/category/thescifigeeksclub/
For a Spacey Special Offer: The person who orders the 125th copy will receive a super space collection of three short stories in the same universe after the release. These will be first-edition, otherwise unpublished stories!
Of course, other prizes are still available. If you refer three people to pre-order this week you’ll get:
All of these items will be delivered physically to you after the release date, complete with a spacey thank you note. If you refer by word of mouth, that counts too. Just send me an email or message telling me how you know the person.
Your next hard-earned sample excerpt will be available tonight, so stay tuned for that! If you liked the last one, or if you didn’t, please leave a comment or a review on the main page. Since the book isn’t yet published, I still have time to make changes. That’s the beauty of crowd-funding a novel; we’re on this ship together!
And with that I leave you the doodle of the day.
"Space crew, what does the Inkshares say about our pre-order count?"
"...It’s over 100?"

Your slightly overzealous space zealot,
-AC
I’ve finally gotten around to updating "The Darkest Places." There is now a cover for the book, and a stronger synopsis. Hopefully I can find some time to "punch-up" the sample chapters, which I’ll admit need some heavy editing.
Thanks for following the book so far, and I look forward to eventually getting production into gear, once things have settled down with "Children."
