A young man embarks on the adventure of a lifetime when he finds his calling in a niche practice within geology known as ‘micromounting,’ or the art of cataloguing and arranging minerals on tiny pedestals in plastic display boxes.

Humans live on hubs orbiting stars, bonding their hearts with their gases to survive as long as the star does. Each congregation is rewarded special powers from its star. The hubs are now at war to discover a mysterious artifact on an abandoned moon.
