A good first week for my first novel. In order to keep the momentum from waning, I am going starting the "Kill your enemies" contest. We all have people that we sometimes don’t care for, but as much as we like, we can’t kill them because we aren’t sociopaths or monsters...but my characters are. I have at least five victims in my next project (a novella) whose names and backgrounds I am not completely set on. How would you like to name them after people you know and despise? The top five people to preorder a copy of Manifesto and use the inkshares recommendation links to drive at least 5 new orders by Wednesday, October fifth will get to name these victims. I will DM the winners and get the information of who they would like to see murdered in print. It is easy. Just use the links on inkshares and then bully a few friends into following them and ordering. One other thing, I won’t "kill" anyone I know personally without their permission.
Cheers!
Dan
Updates, Faoii! Listen up!
Have you all been watching the forums for Faoli-Joey’s updates on the contest? If you haven’t, check it out! Here’s what he had to say about The Last Faoii this week:
6. The Last Faoii by @Tahani Nelson (136 Readers / Last Week’s Rank: 6th)
"Having gone up 16 unique readers from last week, Tahani Nelson and her book The Last Faoii continues to have one of the strongest campaigns in the Top 10. A *ton* of stuff has been going down on her book page and in her comments section. A $100 VISA giftcard was the most normal thing going on there. We got a new book trailer(which is awesome!) by the amazing@Christopher Lee , there is a new blurb describing the book as well as a new section about Ms. Nelson herself in the About the Author section. On top of all of that, Ed Kemmick of “Last Best News” wrote a really great article about Ms. Nelson and The Last Faoii. You can check that out right here. If you’re not a part of the fight just yet, you need to pick up your blade and get in there already!"
Make sure to offer Joey your salute should you see him around the barracks. He’s been working hard, and deserves the praise!
Shields up. We have one month left to take that hill. We WILL do it.
