Hi, everyone! We are so close to 100 copies sold! Please share the link with everyone you know :-) And if you are a member of a syndicate that hasn’t already picked the book, let them know I’m looking for more readers. Actually, I’ve been thinking of starting one myself - what do you all think of a Librarian Syndicate?
I’ve got some art news - in addition to the new cover, which will be soooo much better than my lame efforts with Canva, I’ve commissioned two portraits of Miranda and Ben. Everyone who supports me at the Super Reader level will receive a print.
We may have to extend the campaign - I’m not sure if we’re going to make it to 250 by February 9 - but I’m committed to doing so. My ultimate goal is to bring you a book you will love, and I know we can make it happen together.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I’m off to a weekend of laundry, quiet time with the kids, and writing my new book... I need to have something for you to read next!

Greetings All!
Happy New Year everyone!
Hope you’ve all had a fabulous new year! 2018 is the year I’m looking ahead. Last year I came down with ill health, which continues for the moment, but I am beginning my journey to better health. This means that the future looks brighter for my beloved Space Cat, with ideas on what to improve already flowing.
The first thing I’ll be doing is working on the weakest scenes in the novel. None of these are up on Inkshares, and take place roughly half way through. I’ve always found the middle of a book in progress the hardest to get right. After that, a close look at all the character’s is in order. I want these to be real people, someone you can imagine meeting in the street. While some of the character’s may seem outlandish (again, you meet them later in the novel), I want to dig below their surface and bring forth the real character that hides below the facade. I find this in itself to be reflective of reality. Almost everyone has a facade or persona, be it on the internet or out and about etc. Even me writing this isn’t going to reflect who I really am! And so, by doing this, I feel like my character’s are real, three-dimensional, and not just the face they put on.
This all feels like quite a lot, and it will take some time. I need to make sure I put my health first before tackling too much.
So fingers crossed for a hopeful 2018 for all!
Best Wishes,
Sammy
Greetings, Faoii!
Today marks 3 months since publication. 3 Months, Faoii! And look at how far our army has come in that time! But we’re not done yet. More soldiers have been seeking our banner as they hear of our tale, and I expect that to continue as word spreads. But I can’t keep up the recruitment on my own. I need YOUR help to make every one of those numbers up above to rise a little higher. I’ll be putting various links at the bottom of this missive. Follow our banner and support our cause where it suits you, but make sure you don’t put down your sword yet. This fight is far from over. People WILL know us.
Let’s see how much greater we’ll be a month from now. See you then.

Happy New Year my friends!
Well, 2017 won’t be accused of being uneventful. I think it’s safe to say that it will go down as a year with many bitter memories for some. I lucked out however and, because of you, 2017 turned out to be an awesome year. I say ’you’ because you are responsible for A God in the Shed becoming a reality. You helped us get to over 5300 books sold. We’re staring down the barrel of the sequel going into production and all of it is because you took a chance on this book.
My gratitude knows no bounds.
But, I will be asking you to trust me again.
I have another book currently funding on Inkshares. It’s a science fiction novel called Arch-Android. It’s the story of our robot descendants and how they’ve lived without human interference for centuries, but now, as signs of humanity making a comeback start to appear, they have to decide how best to prepare sharing the galaxy with us once again. Check out the sample chapter and please, consider pre-ordering a copy (or more!). It’s not horror but I swear you won’t regret it.
Again, thank you so much for your continued support. Great things are coming in 2018 and I’m looking forward to sharing that journey with you.

To everyone reading and or just discovering Christmas at the ER....
Lexie Murphy is shamelessly nosy in spite of the fact that it’s gotten her into trouble before. While vacationing with her family in Mexico, her snooping habit causes major problems for everyone when it gets the entire family, and a few of their closest friends, entangled in a drug-related murder investigation.
When someone tries to frame Lexie and her cousin Tina for the murder, Lexie may be forced to choose between a safe escape for her family or proving their innocence beyond a shadow of a doubt.
Will old wounds and pride be her downfall, or will the Murphy family make it home alive?
***
Having the last name Murphy could almost be considered a curse. It’s almost as if Murphy’s Law has an especially tight grip on Lexie Murphy and her family. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. Anything that can happen, as unbelievable as it may be, will happen.
Somehow, they attract surreal incidents. Lexie snoops on a suspicious guest staying at the same resort as her family, and gets them pulled into a situation they’ll never forget. From a close encounter with a mysterious medicine man to murder, they can’t begin to imagine what’s in store for them.
