James Rasile liked an update for A Bedlamite in Shadow

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to drop a quick note, as I will be away for the weekend. We hit 151 pre-orders this week. That means we just need 99 to hit our goal.

Since we hit the 150 mark, it is time for our raffle for an Amazon gift card. I will be randomly drawing a name and the winner will be announced early next week. Once we hit 200, we will have another. So, if you have yet to order, this is a good time to do so, as it will automatically enroll you in the raffle. And, remember, every individual order gets enrolled.

Thanks again for your support.

Rob

James Rasile liked an update for The Last Faoii

Oh my goodness, everyone. The Last Faoii was chosen as the July pick for the Teen Reads Syndicate! I am so so so honored and want to give a shout-out to Tabi Card (author of The Test and others) for her support. I wasn’t even aware of this syndicate, but I am so... humbled that word of The Last Faoii has spread through inkshares. Thank you thank you thank.

      Love always,

      T

James Rasile liked an update for Destiny Imperfect

        Greetings Destiny-followers,

We have the ancient Egyptians to thank for many things: paper to write books on, black ink to write books with, beer to inspire books about. But the most pressing ancient Egyptian invention, for Destiny Imperfect at least, is the 24 hour clock - for it is the next 24 hours that will decide the immediate future of Destiny. We currently sit third. First is not an option – they’re too far ahead. Second is. As is fourth. We need a second or third finish to be successful!

So what can you do? I’m glad I asked. If you are a follower of Destiny Imperfect and want this book to fly like the sun god Ra himself, then head off to here and hit the pre-order button. If you have already pre-ordered Destiny, then charm –  like the good Cleopatra herself –  and persuade friends and family that Destiny Imperfect is worthy of a small investment. Destiny Imperfect will only happen because of you good people, and I thank you all.

        Have a tremendous 24 hours! I know I will!

        Peter

James Rasile liked an update for The Knightmares

Hello my fellow Knightmares! Welcome to the Knightly News!

As of late last night we broke the 180 mark! That means we have less than 70 sales left before it’s official that everyone will receive a copy of this book that has been such a labor of love for about half my life. With that comes a very sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU.

          Don’t forget:

          • If you order a book and get two or more friends to order, I’ll throw in a free tshirt!
          • Every soft cover book will receive a free Knightmares bookmark!
          • If you become an Ultimate Knightmare (order 3 or more books) you’ll get a poster of the new cover art for free.
What about that new cover art, you ask? Well, I have your first sneak peak right here! It’s not done, and there are still plenty of added little extras that will be going into it, PLUS the artist has yet to begin work on the back cover as well. So, this is so early, it’s nearly unfair...

But...check it out! I’m too excited not to show everyone.

          ANNOUNCEMENTS

ALSO, since we hit 180 orders, I raffled off the winner of who will be a character in a future story. AND THE WINNER IS: Jon Carlo Stubblefield. My friend, with that name, this character will write itself.

AND with the 180 order mark, I will post the second half of the mini-story tonight. Find out what happens to the US Marines attacked by boogeyman in the jungles of Vietnam.

          FEATURED IN

I was recently interviewed by Geekadelphia, the premiere blog for the Philadelphia area for all things...well, Geek. Check it out by clicking here.

Inkshares’ own Author of Wrestletown, Christopher Irvin also interviewed me recently, so please check that out while you’re at it, here.

More interviews and guest blog posts coming!

          CHECK OUT THESE OTHER PROJECTS

Terminus by Jaye Milius - In a future where technology lets the living speak with the dead, the afterlife is big business. Families can be reunited, lost loves can be together again, aging rock stars can even play reunion shows with long dead bandmates... all for a price.

This project has 17 days left and deserves attention. Please pick up a copy if you can.

Sunshine is Forever by Kyle T. Cowan - A fiction novel for anyone who’s ever been depressed, or knows someone who suffers from depression.

This project looks to be a great coming of age story that deals with some heady personal triumphs.

Destiny Imperfect by Peter Ryan - When the lines between virtual reality and real life blur, who’s the player and who’s the played? Beware the singularity.

This project has all the makings of a slick Matrix-type science fiction, with plenty of cyber punk.

James Rasile liked an update for Tantalus Depths

            Lore update:

The moral implications of a completely customizeable human genome have not been resolved by the time of Tantalus Depths. Most parents only want to use this technology to ensure the lifelong health of their children, but some may make alterations that are morally ambiguous. Where would you stand on this issue? And how does this technology play into the lives of the Diamelen’s crew?

For answers, seek out Tantalus Depths for a pre-order!

James Rasile liked an update for Are You Sure You Want to Quit?

              Hey everyone!!

I know I said I wouldn’t send anymore updates but.....I would really like to reach the Top 3 in the Nerdist contest. I’m only 8 readers away from 3rd and so with less than 16 hours left in the contest every pre-order helps!

I’ve worked so hard on this story and as a black, female author I want nothing more than to increase diversity in the literary world. With this gamer girl novel, I hope to shed light on the lady gamers out there and show my true passion for writing. By hitting that lovely green button you’re not only supporting my project but bringing me one step closer to a lifelong dream. Once again, I ask those who haven’t pre-ordered yet to take a chance and invest in a gamer girl story with dragons and video gaming.

No matter the outcome, I will be proud with how successful this campaign has been and I won’t stop until this story is published.

Thank you for following me and have a good night!

James Rasile liked an update for In Beta

Last call! Order IN BETA now or, uh, pick it up in bookstores later (hopefully). The Nerdist video game contest ends tomorrow, and it’s been a helluva ride. I’ll be glad to quit hustling and return to churning out the video game-themed hilarity.

Woohoo!!  Mission 51 just passed the 150 pre-order mark! This is very exciting! Do you know what that means? It means we can run the Mission 51 Raffle!

I will now enter the names of every person who pre-ordered Mission 51 so far into Riffle Raffle. Here is a link to the original post and rules for the raffle. The winner will be chosen randomly, electronically.

I’ll announce the winner sometime this weekend. Good luck! :-)

And please, keep pushing Mission 51 to all your peeps. We still have 97 pre-orders to go, and only 22 days in which to do it, for Inkshares to publish this book! We can do it!!! :-)
