Hello!

It is the start of a new week and I’m happy to report that "Shadow King" is up to 88 readers now and 95 copies sold! Thank you to everyone who has supported my effort so far (and welcome to the newest additions to that list); I appreciate each and every one of you. As I’ve noted before, this is terrific progress but I still have some distance to go as  I shoot for one of the top three spots on the leaderboard.

I’m confident that I can get there... but I can’t do it alone.

Readers, you’ve already been a HUGE help by pre-ordering a copy. Please continue to share the "Shadow King" link with friends and colleagues who might be intrigued by Aohdan’s story. Or, if you’ve read my sample chapters, consider leaving a review on the Inkshares site.

For those of you who are following the progress of "Shadow King," I appreciate your support and interest, too. I’d love to see you join the growing list of official readers by pre-ordering a copy of your very own -- and if there’s anything I can share that would help convince you to order (other than telling you how it ends, of course!) please send me a message. I’d love to chat and tell you a little more about the story and how it came to exist.

Hello! I know this update comes sooner than expected, but I wanted to share with all of you that I learned earlier today that "Shadow King" made the Top 25 list for the Launchpad Manuscript Competition!

Good morning, everyone!

I wanted to start the week with a quick update. As always, thank you all so very much for supporting me and Shadow King as part of the 2016 Launchpad Competition.

Right now I’m closing in on 60 pre-orders, and have unfortunately slipped down on the leaderboard slightly. The good news, however, is that Inkshares and Launchpad have elected to extend the Inkshares portion of the competition until December 16. So that gives me several more weeks to share Shadow King with potential readers and fans, and move back up the leaderboard.

This competition is an amazing opportunity and I look forward to the rest of the journey. I’ll send another update in a week or so... in the meantime, please keep sharing my link!

I can hardly believe we’re into the homestretch for the crowd funding portion of the 2016 Launchpad Manuscript Competition. Unlike other funding campaigns on Inkshares, the LPMC has a very short timeline – in fact, there are less than seven days left! 

Thank you to everyone who has pre-ordered Shadow King -- and welcome to those who have joined me on this journey since my last update! The support you’ve shown is wonderful and so appreciated

I’m having a solid showing on the LPMC Inkshares leaderboard, but I’m up against some excellent competition, and I have a ways to go if I’m going to break into that coveted “top three.” 

So, I still need your help… 

• If you’re been thinking about pre-ordering Shadow King but haven’t yet, let me know what I can do to entice you! I’d be happy to chat or answer any questions that you have. If you’re looking for a story with murder, passion and betrayal (plus the Fae!), I really think you’ll enjoy it. 

• Spread the word… Please share my page link with your social networks book clubs, friends and family so they can check out the available sample chapters. 

• Consider leaving a review or recommendation on my page. Your opinions count, so let other potential readers know what you think of the sample chapters.

As the week wraps up, I wanted to send out a quick update.

I’m beyond excited to be part of the Launchpad Competiton’s Top 50, and I can hardly believe that there’s only about a week left. I’d really love to get as many pre-orders as possible before time runs out to boost my standing on the leaderboard. So, if you have not yet pre-ordered a copy, I’d love to add your name to my reader list. And if you know anyone who might be interested, please share my page – your recommendations and referrals would be so appreciated!
