I just want to say thank you to the Inkshares community. We’re all here for a lot of the same reasons, and everyone helps everyone else out. Whether it’s a follow, a review, a recommendation, or even a pre-order. To be honest, I stumbled upon inkshares by accident. Regardless of how my book does (hopefully well), I’m glad I did. I truly appreciate all of the positive feedback I have been receiving for chapter 1 of A Bird’s Prey. Good news! I just uploaded chapter 2. Give it a read. You’ll get a bigger sample of Travis’s personality. I need everyone’s help to get the word out. Don’t forget to tell others about A Bird’s Prey, even if you have to use pigeon post. 

I just want to let everyone know I’m going to be putting up chapter 2 either before the end of today or early tomorrow. 

First off, great job at descriptions. I love your colorful choice in words, poor wording can be a huge burden and it’s something you don’t have! However, I’d like to suggest you start with an attention grabber. Maybe start with the noise of the alarm, then work into "Travis Singelmore is no ordinary..." give it a bit of a jult at the beginning and you’ll have the readers attention. You do a good job at maintaining attention, just try to grab it a little more when you start.

I am currently working on the second draft of A Bird’s Prey. I am about 50% complete.
