I’d appreciate any feedback for my first few chapters. It’ll take about 17 minutes to read through all 4, but I’m sure it will keep you interested. Any feedback will be helpful!
I’m happy to say I’ve posted the next few chapters. These three segments show Jay’s perspective. I hope you enjoy them, and any comments will be appreciated!
@Chad LeggeThank you very much, I’m hoping to have more content up soon (I can’t copy and paste on the computer I use right now so getting a chapter up is very time consuming) hopefully it will live up to the beginning!
That first chapter was a definite attention getter and drew me in right from the start. I loved the comment about the accent and then the way you wrote how they speak. It adds a ton of flavor and makes it very easy to get drawn in. Terrific opening!
I’ve been reading my story and editing, so far it’s great, I was nervous when I started reading it but am happy to say I’m proud of The Burned. I’d be happy to post the next few chapters if anyone is interested, just comment or DM me.
So close to finishing I can taste it! My plans are to have The Burned up for preorder around October, until then I’ll continue working on the story as well as some very different stories. DM me if you’re curious about those, I’m looking for some advice when it comes to Fantasy, Science Fiction, Adventure, and Dark Romanticism. Looking forward for feedback, thank you!
Thank you all again for following me. My progress has been rather smooth lately. High School starts up this month, but that actually means I’ll get more writing in. My school gives us laptops so when I finish all my work I get writing done. You will also start seeing updates during the day instead of midnight. This is just a heads up, I’m looking for any feedback I can get so please tell your friends about The Burned.
Before I finish up on this book (still going to take me a few days) I’d like to know directly from you what you think makes a good western. The only westerns I’ve had experience with are Fistful of Dollars, For a Few Dollars More, The Good the Bad and the Ugly, Tombstone, and Red Dead Redemption (all except Red Dead I had seen the first time this year). DM me anything that you feel is essential for a western and I’ll consider if it’ll help the story or not. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to your feedback!
I’d like to thank you all for following me. Special thanks to all who have given feedback so far, and very special thanks to @Pontus Karsten for the review. Check out his book "The Orb of Rahnos"
