Hello, readers!

Welcome to our 2nd Detective Sunday! I hope everyone has been well, and hope that whatever you are pursuing in life pushes you to your maximum potential. For this Sunday, I’ll just go over what has been happening with me and my concerns for Detective Diaries that you all should know.

Well, I’m graduating pretty soon--actually next week, and I’m pretty excited to finally be leaving high school. I’m sure I’m one of the younger writers on Inkshares, and I see that as a bad and good thing. I lack experience when it comes to being an experienced writer, and what I mean by that is that I haven’t been exposed to plenty of things I write about. I like to envelope the reader in the scenery and put them in the shoes of my characters, but it’s pretty hard to get the full experience when you haven’t met a person that is this way or haven’t been in a huge city during the winter. I think of myself as a visual writer--someone who can make words hold meaning that can relate to my readers’ senses; however, I may just be thinking too much about it.

Moreover, the positive thing about being a young writer is that I can learn from those who has been doing the same stuff I have for a long time. There are plenty of helpful writers and readers on Inkshares that I have gotten tips from, and I appreciate their assistance. It’s hard trying to pursue something without any knowledge on your best approach to handle the situation.

Lastly, my concerns for Detective Diaries is pretty straight-forward. I know the amount of chapters I want to leave you guys on, but I’m wondering about when I should press that pre-ordering button. It has been bugging me for a while, but I believe I’m overthinking. I won’t tell you guys yet, but once I hit the chapter limit I set for myself, we’ll more than likely transfer to the next phase. At that point, we’ll have more people in our small community, and I’ll just have to reach out to people to hit the milestones we need to surpass to make this a reality.

Thanks for reading, and have a great Sunday!

Until next time, Sixth.

Hello, readers!

Wow! The number of followers has certainly jumped from our 1st Detective Sunday! As I had said in that update, this is the Wednesday Update for Chapter Two: Chemistry. I want to thank those accompanying us on the path Detective Diaries is set on, and I hope you enjoy your stay in our community. Currently, the pacing of the story has a slow start, but starting next chapter is when the reader will get involved with the heart of the problem and get to know who the main protagonists are. Soon, you all will know why this is majorly mystery.

Until next time, Sixth.

An interesting start to a story, I look forward to taking the time to read more.

Yo, readers!

This will be our 1st Detective Sunday! ( I know it’s kinda weird naming it that way xD)

I hope everyone’s week went pretty smoothly, and happy Mother’s Day to all! I know this is a holiday and all, but I wanted to inform you guys on the next move, for I need to set some dates and update you guys on what’s in store for our future.

Now, the first thing I want to touch on is update days. Starting now, there will be two update days throughout the upcoming weeks. Wednesday will be a chapter update and Detective Sunday will be your regular ol’ update on the progress of Detective Diaries, any suggestions I might need from you all, regular ol’ talk or significant moves that will impact my schedule.

The second thing involves you all. Even though there are only eight of you at the moment, I’d like you all to spread the word a little if possible. I know we aren’t in the pre-ordering phase, but I’d like to get many people invested into our community and story before buying anything I might offer. The drafting phase is important in my eyes, so let’s make it the best thing possible! And hey, scratch my back and yours will be too.

The last thing is pretty simple. You followers have probably been here way longer than I, so any advice you may have for me would be really appreciated. This site relies heavily on the word of the readers, and I very much like that approach because it’s about your audience as a writer. I want to become marketable and make this a reality, so any little ideas would be appreciated if you don’t mind.

Well, this wraps up our first Detective Sunday! Oh, but besides the heavy stuff, I’m open to any discussions outside of books, writing and all that. I see my followers as friends I haven’t visually met yet, so I’d like to know more about you guys. Sorry for dragging this out!

Yours truly, Sixth.

I think you have a great premise here, and I can’t wait to see where the story goes once it’s finished up and run through a bit of editing.   Best of luck, I’ll be following the progress on Detective Diaries for sure!

Hello, Readers!

Just wanted to thank you all for following my book and I’d be happy to check out the books some of you may have that are writers. I’ll keep you all updated almost every day on the progress of Detective Diaries, and please comment about anything pertaining to characters, the plot, the detail, or anything you may be wondering about that I could improve or have done well.

Until next time, Sixth
