Hello all you lovely people. Autumn and I have been so blessed by all the support and love you have shown us through out this competition so far. We have talked to some lovely people and been stretched as writers , as we fearfully look each morning at the score boards to where we are in regards pre-orders. We did want to thank those of you you have pre-ordered our book and for the lovely reviews some of you put on our page.

We do have a big favor to ask of you all, however. We know some of you who follow us have not pre-ordered our book yet , we are asking ( and slightly begging) you to pre-order our book today or tomorrow. We are about 13 pre-orders behind 3rd place and we know the farther we get from the 3rd the harder it will be to get back up. We really appreciate all you lovely readers so far and Autumn and I wanted to put a little incentive out there for you all. If we reach our goal of 13 pre-orders by tomorrow night we are going to put a new excerpt or maybe even chapter onto our site. So if you have been dying to read more pray, beg or do whatever you have to do to get someone you know to help us get back up to 3rd place.

We thank you all for your support and for reading all our updates.

Guardians, initiates, readers, followers, buyers, friends, and all inbetween - Phajil zek! (You’ll learn more about that in later chapters, whether published, or coerced into releasing some more goodies) The contest is going wonderfully and we are having a blast!

But we want to take a second and thank some people who have been incredible, brilliant, absolute SAINTS who have been supportive and kind and will probably end up deserving some characters named after them or something. We had zero idea we would be making so many awesome new friends on this journey.

One of those people is Alexander Barnes, the co-writer of The Amaranth Chronicles, and not only has he lavished praise and kind words on our project, but he’s supported us as a Super Reader (or Guardian, as we’d like to call him) and we’d like to return the favor - please, if you have supported us, consider supporting his series as well. https://www.inkshares.com/books/the-amaranth-chronicles

Another is Byron Gillan, writer of The Children of the Forest, and he’s been kind enough to give us some help and tell his readers about us, and our hope to win the Space Opera contest. His book is SO close to publishing and we (especially Autumn who is a fantasy nerd) really, really, need to hold this book in our hands one day. So go check him out. https://www.inkshares.com/books/the-children-of-the-forest

Give these friends of ours some love, and do remember that if you want to read the entirety of this book, we still need you to help us get the word out. Help us achieve our dreams! Go annoy your friends, turn into the rabid squirrels we know you all to be, and do not rest until The Veiled Hope is in your hands!

~Abby and Autumn

Hi awesome readers! Yes, you - okay, not you specifically because I’m not sure who’s reading this, but whoever you are, thanks for reading it! This is Autumn here, speaking for Abby and I, and I’m proud to say that we have been holding at fifth for as long as we have in this, our first Inkshares project, is pretty huge for us, and it’s all thanks to you guys, so we want to make our gratitude known.
Now that that’s out of the way, we’ve hit a plateau. We’ve stayed in fifth place. It’s kind of meh here, and we’d like to get the show on the road. So if you guys REALLY, and I do mean REALLY want to see this book in your hands or on your Kindle in the nearby future, please share this (read: annoy) with your friends, family, guy on the subway next to you, or your cat, because cats read and they’ll be taking over the world soon.
Again, your support is the only reason we are where we are and we’re actually pretty stoked to be here... wherever this is... wait... where am I? Abby!!! Gosh, I’m lost without my co-writer...

Sure! Our joined account is rayneandkayva and it’s a gmail account (if I try to put it in as an email, it deletes it). Weird. I hate technology.

Words can not express how much your words mean to us Alexander. You are one of the first people to express your enthusiasm for our book and writing. It is truly humbling and exciting and we really cant thank you enough for your words.

I just want to say something, Keep going,. Keep going with this story, keep going with more of them, just keep going. What you write, I will read.

Thank you so much for all the love and support you have shown us in the past two days. We really appreciate you believing in us and our characters. Don’t forget to tell everyone you know about this book so that we can become the next big thing :) Love you all.
