A quick update today; firstly we are only four copies away from the halfway point to Quill! With over 50 days left, I'm excited for what is to come.

Secondly, for those of you who prefer audio books to traditional reading, I am pleased to announce that the first chapter of Storm of Fury is available! Performed by the amazing talents of my father, Jonathan Wood, the audio chapter can be found in a link on my page. So grab your friends who like audio books and get them to listen!

I apologize for the multitude of updates recently, but this is an exciting time! I am indebted to John a Robin, the author of the really, really awesome book called Blood Dawn, because he has truly pulled out all the stops to advertise and support Storm of Fury.

This week, we breached 100 copies sold! Only a mere 143 to go to get into Quill publishing! (I say mere, but it's still going to be a hefty fight.)

I can't do this without the support of patrons like you, so please help Storm of Fury reach the bookshelves. Try and get just one person to get my book, -just one!- and we'll get well over 200!

Also, great news! Inkshares is adding an e-book option on November 13th! This option costs 10$ and will give you the e-book only version of Storm of Fury when the book is published. Thankfully, you don't have to hand over 20$ to buy the book anymore. (Unless you want a physical copy.) Anyone who has been considering buying, but not wanting to burn a $20 bill, just wait until Friday!

With less than fifty days remaining to fund Storm of Fury, I've realized that the likelihood of reaching 750 copies is impossible without some sort of miracle. The light publishing goal, 250 copies, is still quite obtainable, but I am beginning to grow apprehensive. Within the last two weeks, I've sold only one book. We still have to more than double the number of pre-orders, and if things don't pick up soon, I'm going to start worrying.

So, in order to boost morale and entice new readers, chapter three of Storm of Fury will go up on Inkshares tomorrow afternoon! Grab a friend and check it out! (And then get them to buy the book.) Tell everyone you know about this great book you ordered, and help make Storm of Fury a reality!

A quick update for everyone; the second draft of Chapter One has been put up on the site, replacing the original chapter. As loathe as I was to delete the comments and highlights some of you had added, I feel much better about this revised edition.

On another note, tomorrow Storm of Fury will be advertised on the podcast, the Morning Stream! Tell your friends to stop on by and give them a listen!

Acolytes of the Church! 

As some of you may already know, Inkshares is changing the way they do business. The good news? A small goal! 250 copies sold for a light publishing deal, and 750 copies for the full publishing. The bad news? No more free copies. (NOOOOOO!) Actually, this is a smarter move by Inkshares, so I can't say I'm surprised.

Starting on October 30th, the price of a pre-order will rise from $10 to $20. You can still get $10 in credits if you sign in and leave a quick review. (This is greatly appreciated.) But from the 30th, you will have to spend some real cash. 

If you've been putting off buying a novel, please do so for free while you still can!! 

In other news, we're just one copy short of 75! That's so awesome! Remember, I'll be uploading Chapter 3 when we reach 100! I'm also pleased to say that I will soon have maps to show you all.

Hello Disciples of the Fury!

It's time once more for the weekly update! Storm of Fury has reached 62 copies ordered. That's phenomenal! Thanks to everyone who has helped thus far, I really appreciated your support.

I'd like to see if I can push to 70-75 copies this week, so you guys keep spreading the word for me. (Remember, you can get a copy for free! People love free things!) I'll be uploading Chapter Three once we get to 100 copies, and I'm also working on some maps and a video for the main page.

I'll also be making some fliers to hand out and hang up at the local library. If anyone wants some, email you and I'll give you the poster to print out. See you guys next week!
