I was very impressed by the first few chapters of "From Ashes". Like the best urban fantasy stories, you deftly mix together the magic and the mundane within your setting and make both equally important for your main character.  I’m captivated and interested in learning more (what are those pink pills that Charlotte takes, and are they holding back her supernaturalness?)
