Not only is this an intriguing premise, but well written and informative as well. I honestly cannot describe enough how delightful The Science of Magic is to read. The combination of accurate medical knowledge with created connections is, perhaps, not a new idea, but the creative way Merriam-Pigg brings this combination to the reader makes this a truly fantastic read.

Lovely concept, sounds like a great read just not sure that it is Hard Science Fiction as much as Hard Fantasy.

I love love love the concept of this book. Science and magic are like crack and heroin to me, but in a good way. Is there a good way? Did I just offend everyone? Oh god how do I turn this off? Undoooooooo
