WOW! For a first time author this book hits hard, starting off strong and immediately sucking you in and making you want more! I couldn't put it down. Intense, well written, and I am thirsty for more! Very impressive read!!!!

The gravity of war sneaks up in this book. Wonderful portrayal of grief

The Opree Legacy feels like a fully realized world from the start, and the snapshots of the prologue expertly navigate the reader through that world. There is great tone and emotion as a city falls, all of which is delivered to reader in well-written packages. This has the makings of an epic series of stories due to the feeling of completeness the world exudes. I look forward to reading more!
