Discussion

Hey folks! Great uptick in orders this week. I'm working on a promo video for you all, let me know if you have any questions you want answered about the book, my process, or my holiday plans (I suggest the former subjects, as my plans involve lots of cookies and parade viewings...)
Hope to hear from you soon!

WOW so much has changed around here! But one thing remains the same--I'm working away editing Starbuck and getting him ready for you all.

I wanted to make sure you don't miss the #inksharesholiday promotion that starts today. If you order a physical copy of my book, you qualify for a second copy COMPLETELY FREE *turns on infomercial voice* That's right, folks, you get two copies of this magnificently silly book FOR THE PRICE OF ONE! There are some holidays coming up, and everyone you know has a birthday. Order my book during this promotion and you can read my book along with your favorite bibliophile friend. You could make multiple orders and start a book club, where you discuss exactly how little sleep I was running on while writing various sections of the book, or how many bagels with cream cheese and doritos I probably ate while my delicate brain was still developing (answers in the readers guide: very little, and way too many, respectively.)
I highly recommend you take advantage of this offer while it lasts, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. Even if you're planning to gift them your second copy. You'll be in before copies of this book become highly collectible and incredibly valuable. Now excuse me, I have some squirrels to avenge.

Alright. Realistically, unless some miracle happens, we're not going to make it to a thousand preorders by the end of September. BUT I HAVE NOT ABANDONED ALL HOPE. I still have until December to keep those preorders rolling in and get this monster to press. If you haven't preordered my book yet, you should definitely get on that. This book has been called "Hilarious" and "awesome" by those who recommended it here on inkshares. It's also been called "ridiculous" and "all around impressive" by people I spend time with in the real world.

Find out what all that buzz is about by preordering and unlocking exclusive sneak peeks at Starbuck, Dezi, Reg and Fran's adventures in the wilderness of Western New Jersey. (I guess that's a place now. I have declared it and so it shall be.)

I have to get back to my day job, which regrettably has nothing to do with science. Keep a look out for evil geniuses with little to no evil genius training. I've heard they're just as dangerous as the ones with degrees in horribleness.

Passed the 10 pre-order mark. Doodle-y do going out tonight. If you haven't preordered yet, you should definitely do so!

Thank you all for following this project! If you haven't preordered yet, I highly encourage you to, as preorders will get access to more content, including my drawings and completed chapters of the book.

Once I hit ten preorders, I'll release an exclusive comic-doodle to all readers, and my tenth funder will unlock a chapter fragment for all followers.

Don't forget I'm in the running for the Nerdist contest, and if the project gets fully funded I am eligible for promotion from the Nerdist website. That would be amazing--and you'd be a part of it! All preorder folks will get a shoutout in the final draft as well, so make sure to get your order in ASAP!!

Thank you again for the support so far, lets get Starbuck the recognition he deserves.
