Hey, look! A contest! This is great. There’s definitely a mystery here, and I like to think that the Burden of Choice is thrilling, so let’s give it a shot. At the very least, I get the cool "Contestant" badge, so it’s a win-win. Best of luck to the contestants!
A huge thanks to my new followers! I wanted to let you know that I’ve made a major change to the book. After reading loads of great work on Inkshares and elsewhere, I’ve decided to change the POV for The Burden of Choice. I want Caspian and Adrian to be able to tell their story from their own, unique perspectives, which often differ significantly on key points of the story. Please let me know what you think about the new opening hook in the prologue, as well as the new format. Happy reading!
BTW, feel free to constructively criticize my writing. There’s lots of work to be done!
I’ve added some extra material. If you get the chance, please let me know what you think. Heck, if you get the chance, send me a message just to say hi! The life of a writer/computer programmer can be a lonely one...
First discussion comment! I suppose that’s a milestone. Anyway, I’ve uploaded an updated version of chapter one, and the others I’ve written are soon to come. Thanks to Evan for becoming my first official follower. Everyone’s got to start somewhere, right?
