Hey, Bryn! Me too. Not counting credits, I’m planning on throwing down real-world money at least once a month. It’s a good way to give back, and also get a good book in return! One-person "Splinter" syndicates, onward!!!
So, I’ve decided to buy one book a month on inkshares. I figure that even if my work never sees the light of day, there’s some great reading on here. And while it’s nice to support someone, this is not simple charity, because from what I’ve read so far, I’m getting a damned good book. I also get a nice feeling knowing that in a very small way, I’ve helped someone’s dream come true.
Good news. Out of hospital and my son is doing well, although with mono the next 6 weeks need to be taken really easy, and he can’t be biking, climbing, jumping round etc. As his summer fun is now strongly hindered, he has come to the conclusion that this is justification for an xbox one or playstation 4.
But anyway, aside from this dilemma, I’m back in the loop.
Sorry I have not been able to do reviews as am staying in hospital with my oldest boy who has glandular fever. Hopefully back in the loop in a day or two.
I finally got the bestest review in the world. I’ve never received such praise before, it was truly inspiring and has motivated me to continue writing.
Unfortunately my mum is not so good at computers, so she was unable to send it to me electronically.
Hey guys, have taken the plunge and joined my first inkshares syndicate. Have also been working on another book. Again it’s a memoir, but this time about my adventures in the ski industry, so will be substantially raunchier than any previous work.
Just had a breakthrough with my ex publisher. They are running a month long promotion for the whole of may for my first two books, and it’s made a big difference already. Such good news has motivated me to get my act together and get active on inkshares.
Big news. My publisher for my first two books (which I cannot name as they’re written under another name) has agreed to run a month long promotion for the whole of May.
