Highly conceptual in the best way, Past Man simultaneously focusing on the writing elements and the essence of the character, stripping away all artifice. There is so much going on within the writing itself, yet it is almost what is not said that holds the weight. The author uses association and tone almost as carefully as his word choice. I look forward to reading more.
