Insightful and funny!
Lucky Charm
Humorous look at a quaint, quirky small Alaskan town from a insightful but slightly jaded preadolescent boys point of view. My 5th grade son loved the first chapter and can't wait for the second chapter.
Carol D. Marsh
A young adult novel about a boy growing up in Alaska - well written and interesting, I can see young people reading this book and loving it.
Jon Morgan
I come from a small town myself, so I may be a little biased, but I think Payne perfectly captured the humor, frustration and unexpectedness that can come along with being a young person trapped in a small town. I'm very interested to see where this goes!
Allison Azhocar
Super imaginative. The opening is fantastic. I love the comparison of wolves to kids. I look forward to reading more.

This is the best writing I've seen on inkshares. Love the narrator's voice, love the premise. Thinking of purchasing once I've read a bit more :)

Teachers gonna teach, and the best way is by telling a story. Jason's got the beginnings of something good here...looking forward to see what else he has in store for us.

I've been a little obsessed with Alaska ever since watching Northern Exposure, and I love character-driven YA. This book interests and excites me!
