"Facetime"...as in Apple Facetime, perhaps? An askance allusion, or the seed of a satire on our "connected" era of social media etc.? I personally am always excited to read work that is skeptical toward our techno-optimistic consensus, and I hope that is the direction this idea is going...

It will be cool to see how you add a twist to this idea. There are so many stories that work off the disease-ridden society. I am sure you have a unique way of looking at it from a fresh set of ideas. Do you remember "The Stand" by Steven King? I think the people who wee immune where disabled in some way. The freaks of the world became the only ones left standing.
