I know everyone hates all these updates--I probably get fifty a day--but I hope you all take the time to check this one out. For the sake of sanity and brevity I will make this in bullet points and only give you the most important bits.
My project currently (working) titled Edge of Town is being re-titled as Edge of an Endless Earth. Wonderfully alliterative right?
Illustrator Andy Flemming has just finished a wonderful commissioned cover for Edge of an Endless Earth (thumbnail of the cover and his contact information included on the project page) and I will be switching the project cover officially in the next few days.
Edge of an Endless Earth will have a first chapter uploaded some time in the next few days -- I haven’t totaled the word count for this draft yet, but I think it’s looking like 20 pages in the word processor. No punky little chapters for my readers--I want everyone to hear the voices of my characters and fall in love with Buckeye, Tennessee.
Chapter 2 of the same project will be dropping shortly thereafter, with a third soon after that. Then I will take a step back and do a bit of promotion, get a chance to read some others’ work on inkshares (fund some things I have been meaning to) and track the interest for Edge of an Endless Earth.
Lastly, I have been developing a second book: Here There Be Dragons (working title). I can’t say much about this project other than if you like fantasy, monsters, pirates, pioneers, star trek, or Firefly (hopefully all of the above) consider following this project as I develop it. More advanced summary and character/world/ship details to be added to the project page in the next month.
I love the idea of a sleepy town waking up to something as fantastic as this. I am excited to see where the story goes and I’ll be keeping an eye out for future updates eagerly!
I want to extend a heart-felt and loving thank you to all of you who have shown an interest in my project, Edge of Town. This update is to inform you that more information and content on the project has been added, including author information, flavor text, epigraph, and inspiration info and pictures.
Hopefully these updates will energize and inspire you to follow Edge of Town closely as I add chapters and content over the summer, and encourage you to recommend and share with others if you are interested.
Thanks so much again, send me messages any time about your own projects. (I teach writing and my MFA courses consist of critique workshops so if anyone wants feedback on their sample chapters I will be happy to oblige)

Color me intrigued. I’ll be keeping an eye on this!
