Crossworlds brings to life a complex world with new technology and a clearly stated objective. The fast-paced narrative keeps the story shifting and compelling, while the use of futuristic technology establishes the world. I found the characters interesting to follow and the world three-dimensional. In short, it was a pleasure to read and I look forward to reading more.

When a game world traps players against the will of its moderators, things turn sour in The Realms as experienced players are enlisted to help save those trapped in the game and possibly the reputation of the game itself.

Crossworlds brings cool, fresh ideas to video game fiction. It injects some mystery into the excitement, and even manages to cross over into spooky territory, a feat I've never seen in stories based around video game culture.
