It’s been a bit since I last updated. I took down all the chapters after 3 because they’re getting a new story arc... a side plot, if you will. Other than that, I’m revising chapter 1 and should have it ready to be posted soon. Thank you all for your support. Let’s get it moving!
Currently in the process of revising Chapter 1 and I took down all the chapters after Chapter 3. I figured it made sense to delete them since none of those chapters are even remotely polished. Feel free to drop by and read the new Chapter 1. I’d love any feedback you have to offer.
Haha! Today we appear with a shiny new book cover by Inkshare’s own Kaytalin Platt. It is marvelous work and I’m so pleased. She was able to work with when the first images needed a younger model. What’s so amazing is that she came up with the same model I’d chosen to represent Anabeth without me saying a word. Kismet! So a round of applause for Kaytalin. Thank you so much! In other news, edits for plot and content will see a ton of changes to the beginning and perhaps middle of the book. I’m going to be taking down most of my chapters to begin a huge overhaul. Thank you all for your support and kind words, especially those of you who left recommendations and reviews. TTFN, Readership, and thanks!
It’s been a crazy month of crowdfunding and I’m at 35/250/750 sold. Still have two months left, but at the rate I’m going right now, I won’t make it to the 250, let alone the 750. Most of us know what this feels like, I’m sure. So if you haven’t dropped by to read some of Awakening, I ask you to do it now. It’s a book written for a younger audience (4-7th grades), so please keep that in mind when reading. If you can’t find it in your pocketbook to spring for a copy, leave me a recommendation or a review, at least?
In other news... I’ve managed to get all the grammar and spelling edited for every chapter. This kitten says how I feel right now. That editing took forever.
Now, I get to go back through and edit for content. Something tells me that’s going to take much, much longer. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

Howdy, Readership! On good advice from a fellow Inkshares author, I’ve decided to feature Chapter 3 on Awakening’s page because it offers a better view of what the whole book is about. It’s the first time we get to see Ana interact with the Underworld, after all, so I’m hoping to attract readers by giving them more than just the Prologue from the start. Soon, though, you’re likely to see heavy editing of plot with new characters added and a load of new scenes. If you see chapters disappear, don’t panic! They’ll be back and better than ever... soon, soon...
