Interesting opening, just as one gamer attempts to convince his group to buy into a game which plugs into one's brain. With the small sample available, I am intrigued as to see how this will play out. Dialogue between the characters seems realistic and the respective voices are unique, so I'm looking forward to reading more.

what could go wrong when you are virtually plugged into a game that you can't wake from or log off from? It makes me think of Better Than Life game from the Red Dwarf novels or the addictive game that appeared on Star Trek: TNG. check it out!
