Based on recommendations and notes, I've gone ahead and cleaned up the Prologue. I am much happier with its current incarnation, as I do believe it reads much better. I appreciate the feedback I received, your help has made The Children of the Forest a stronger story. I will soon be going through the other chapters and doing similar revisions. Any feedback on the changes to the Prologue would be much appreciated! Thanks!
