Another Reader recommended this novel to me, and I’m glad I started reading it.  I like the interesting premise and futuristic setting, and find the storyline to be both fascinating and thought-provoking.  Marshall and Penelope are both relatable characters.  It seems Marshall is searching for greater meaning and trying to understand the value of life, while Penelope has already mastered this feat, yet hasn’t realized it yet.  They also appear to have different skill sets/strengths.  I’m curious as to how the paths of these characters will cross, and if/how they will help each other.  Also, I’m anxious to know more about the background of the Experiment - why was it implemented, to what purpose, and who ultimately controls the project/results?   The author of this novel clearly demonstrates skill in enticing readers in to the story while revealing information in layers.  I’m definitely looking forward to reading more!
