Greetings, Faoii! It’s been another month, and this one has been our best one to date! Look at what we’ve done, my warriors!
Do you see that? 345 copies in one month. For every one of you that spread the word and left a review-- I thank you. This is your doing, and thus I raise my mug.
Actually, if you’d like to raise a mug or drinking horn with me in person, consider coming to The Montana Renaissance Festival in Billings on June 2 and 3rd. It’s at Zoo Montana, and I’ll be there with books, a booth, a quill, and a brand new set of armor. I would love to meet some of you in person, Faoii. Put a face to the warriors that have carried us so far.
One more thing: If you haven’t already followed Faoii Betrayer do so now! We’re going to make this sequel real one way or another. But sequels only matter if people know the original book is out there. Keep shouting your battle-cry, Faoii. Tell the world! Rate, review, share! Ask your local library if they can get a copy in. Give The Last Faoii as gifts. Faoii Betrayer will never become real if people aren’t excited, but we know that they should be excited. You’ve seen Faoii-Kaiya’s journey. You know she’s worthy of your support. Keep pushing. Let me hear your battle-cry!
And, as always-- Keep those shields up.
Faoii-Tahani
Updates, Faoii! Listen up!
Orders, Faoii! Listen up!
October 1st is this Saturday. That means that the drawing for the $100 Visa is in just a few days. Tell you friends, your family, random literate acquaintances-- we need every soldier capable of lifting a sword on this field! The contest is drawing to a close and we’re only in 6th place. I need you to spread the word.
All right, Faoii! Listen up!
Apparently communication broke down somewhere. I’ve been pacing these barracks impatiently for a few days now and finally contacted our Inkshares allies about why my soldiers haven’t gotten their weapons (read:refunds) yet. About 45 seconds later everyone got a message that their refund will be processed in 3 to 5 days. So we’re still waiting.
That hill is getting harder to take by the day, so when we are finally armed and ready, it’s going to take every single one of us to see the Faoii banner at it’s peak. We’re going to do it. We ARE going to take that hill in under 24 hours and make sure that every single person in this war remembers the day that the Faoii stepped onto the field. We will show them ALL that this project is worth it, and that we’re not giving up until its publication is a reality.
Don’t forget, faoii-- after we capture the hill we have to HOLD it. That’s a harder thing to do, but not impossible. Share, review, tweet, post, send blade-blasted carrier pigeons if that’s what it takes-- but prove to everyone you know that this is a fight worth joining, and that the people/world of The Last Faoii are worth saving.
The battle’s coming, Faoii. Shields up. I want to hear your battle cry.
Faoii-Tahani
In case you were curious about how I picture Faoii-Kaiya.
I have other drawings, too. Tell me if any of you are interested and I might or might not share them with you (But remember--I’m a writer, not an artist).
Well, these first three days on Inkshares have been exciting! Thank you so much to everyone who has already shown their support. I love you dearly! We’ve already gotten 19 pre-orders (Which I think is pretty good for 3 days, right?) But there’s still a long way to go before we get to see The Last Faoii in print. As such, please help get the word out! I’ve posted the first three chapters on inkshares, so let your fantasy-loving friends that they’re welcome to look before making any decisions. I write for enjoyment (my own and others’) and want to keep the experience one of excitement rather than pressure. Just keep being awesome and we’ll do fine.
