Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for Disintegration

Hello, dear supporters and followers alike.

Disintegration is right on the brink of 400 orders. When last I asked for support, the response was immediate and wonderful. It would be great to meet, and surpass, the 400-copy milestone. There’s a unique, original artwork in it for the person who places the order!

I’ve got 45 days left to garner the additional 350 orders, to obtain full-service publishing. Please help me make that dream a reality. Share my campaign with people you know are interested in a gripping, gritty science fiction epic that is chock full of relevant social commentary, intense action and credible interactions. It’s not turgid sci-fi, but it’s not soft! No flying hotels (sorry, Enterprise-D), no technobabble, no Deus ex machina, no unintentionally hammy dialogue ... frankly, no bullshit.

Disintegration is the real deal, folks. This is not a purely commercial enterprise; it’s a labor of love. I am not churning out a story just to sell it; I am crafting what I hope will be received as an intricate, well-crafted masterwork that can be endlessly mined for more stories across the variety of media.

I know there is a plethora of options out there. I know that there is a lot of chaff out there, too, but there are some great stories just waiting to be told. A lot of those great stories are vying for publication on this very site. Mine is one of them.

Be the reason that Disintegration gets told. Pre-order your copy today.

Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked an update for Cape’s Side Bay

      FRIDAY!

Hurray! And today marks the 1 week anniversary of pre-orders! Up to 44 pre-orders so far! Thank you so much for everyone who has pre-ordered, followed, and recommended Cape’s Side Bay! It really means a great deal to me. You’re currently my favorite people on the planet.

We still have a long way to go to get to our goal, but with some hard work, some word of mouth, and maybe even some bribing, I’m confident we will get there!

When we hit 50 pre-orders the remainder of  the draft of FRIDAY EVENING will be posted, and after that only those who pre-order Cape’s Side will be able to read the fifth Chapter, FRIDAY NIGHT, before the books publication!

Let’s put our best foot forward and get there. The campaign is a long one but please don’t hold out!

I’ll leave you for the weekend with the watercolour on the temp cover of the book, without the photoshopping.

Please pass word along to everyone you know who may be interested in Cape’s Side Bay, or even if they’re not but they wanna support something awesome! ;)

      Cheers to a great weekend!

      James

This story has certainly captured my attention. I like Brian Guthrie's fluid and easy writing style. What a great concept for a story though. As soon as I read the blurb on this book I knew I had to pre-order it. Now reading 2 chapters I can't wait.

Brian and Michelle Guthrie liked a review for After Man
After Man is an interesting take on the world and the stress technology would have to absorb if something truly catastrophic happened. While there is a slight nod to Frank Herbert's The White Plague, the only true similarity is the quality of the writing. I also appreciate the task of creating strong female characters. I look forward to reading more!
