Engaging from the start, Troll Hunter draws the reader in with a unique premise and three dimensional characters. Visel gives exposition, story, and character development in every paragraph which creates a great pace for the story. Action sequences are given the right amount of detail and throughout the mystery of the story keeps the reader going.

I thought I'd grown too old for swords and trolls, but this is bloody brilliant, and it's a pleasant surprise to rediscover a passion for this genre. Gripping from the start, the author has a real knack for building suspense and intrigue.
