The Journal of Margot Allez will be a continuation of a series of short stories I wrote while taking fiction classes.  Written in the style of a journal, the story follows Margot Allez, a young woman in post-apocalyptic California as she sets sail across the pacific in search of her lost brother.  She eventually lands on a mysterious island where she discovers a civilization that more closely resembles her favorite history books than reality.

While I may visit this on occasion, it is mostly pushed to the back burner as I work on "Crop Dusters."

I thank you all, though there are only a few of you, for following my project.  I am new to InkShares and new to writing on a public platform.  Just having a few followers gives me more confidence about my writing than I ever had before.

Since I am in the very early stages of "Crop Dusters," I don’t have a lot on paper just yet.  I have been going back and forth on first and third person POV for Chapter 1 this week and I am finally settling down in first person, the POV I am most familiar writing in.  I want readers to feel as if they are embarking on this journey themselves.

Now, as far the book itself, I hope to have the Prologue finished and a good chuck, if not all of Chapter 1 posted this weekend.  The Prologue that is posted now has been rewritten for the better, I think.  I welcome any and all feedback.

Again, thank you all for the support.  I can’t wait to share my story.
