Sari Laitinen liked an update for A Prophecy for Two

Just checking in - I know it’s been a little while, but for good reasons! Reasons which have occupied some of my time, which I’ll tell you about in a minute!

Prophecy is hanging out in the editorial pipeline, over here - everything’s submitted and turned in, just waiting...

Here’s the OTHER news:

1) if you like romance (especially of the LGBTQ+ kind), urban fantasy, cats, witches, and hot chocolate - my novella Port in a Storm is available as of TONIGHT from Less Than Three Press! You can buy it here, and then come and have all the feelings about David and Colin with me! There will also be at least one sequel...

2) I have also signed a contract with JMS Books for the thing I’ve been affectionately referring to as the Midwinter Demon Book, and that will be out in paperback AND digital formats in March! *screams and runs around happily* There will be musicians! M/M romance! Demons! Pizza! Rescuing of babies! Rock and roll!

3) I have ALSO signed a contract for an academic book about the wonderful and sorely missed Terry Pratchett, which will be out from McFarland in 2018!

So it’s been a busy few months, over here. But thanks for sticking with me, and I hope you’re having a lovely December, all of you, full of joyfulness!

Hi there, I was going through my emails and found my order for this book. It’s been a year and I’m wondering if I missed a delivery or if the books never shipped? Is there any progress update on this?

        Good morning inkshares supporters!

I’m writing because I’ve gotten some new information on the publication timeline for Twisted Tales, and I wanted to share it with you.  According to the folks at Quill, there are currently two books in the "pipeline" ahead of mine. They estimate that production can begin in earnest in January or February, and that the books can ship 5-6 months after that.  In my case, because I have done so much of the design work on this project myself, the timeline could be slightly shorter.

My first reaction to this information was I AM CRUSHED. As most of you know, I’m a fast moving and high energy person, so to me the publishing process is maddeningly slow.  However, then I thought about it some more and I was like CALM DOWN KATIE THIS IS FINE. I am still enthusiastic about this project, and I know the payout will be huge for having a thorough and high quality editorial team.

In the meantime, if you were hoping to use this book as a gift, email me.  I can’t deliver the final book, but I can create some printable wall art from the illustrations, etc... so that your little people can have something to open this year.  As always, I am super grateful for your patience, and the encouragement you have given me as a young author.

        You are the greatest,

        Katie

Teresa L Tebbe liked an update for Crow’s Gambit

Greetings Supporters of Crow’s Gambit! Sorry for the silence and welcome to NanoWriMo the National Novel Writing Month.

Some of you have asked where we are with publication. We picked up a few orders during a Halloween cookie offering but not enough. We are still trying to get to the required number of Pre-Orders. And I could really use your help right now.

If everyone receiving this who has not ordered did it now…we would be celebrating! If only half of those who have made Pre-Order got a friend to make an order…we would be celebrating! With your help we can get things kick-started again. Could you give me a hand?

It’s appropriate you are getting this during NanoWriMo. Crow’s Gambit was actually written during NanoWriMo 2015. I am working on a new book for the event this year. It’s a “weird western”. The world is built with elements from several different magical and mythological settings and includes some of the typical Western genres. Honestly right now I’m a little behind in my word count but maybe in a few years you’ll be hearing about this story too.

            More to come...no really...I’m serious... :)

Immediately I was sucked into Mara's world - her feelings, her atmosphere. I was blown away by the story unfolding and can't wait to read the full story in "The Devil You Don't."
