Finally uploaded the 1st chapter after a lot of touches... and Inkshares tells me it´ll take almost 3 hours for a normal human being to read through it all. Taking around 90 pages in a Word file, this is definitely the 2nd longest chapter in the book (1st place being the epilogue) and works to set the stage for the following events in the saga.

That basically means there´s tons of talking, meeting new people and above all else a lack of understanding of the educational system in the British Isles. All in all, a hefty read that will definitely need some work to not bore readers to death!

Check it at your own pace and leave a comment where you think the writing takes a dip or for unnecessary filler, will help me out a lot!

Everything changed when the world ended, and whatever she thought I had been, I wasn’t the same person anymore. I was the same as everyone else, and that was someone only looking out for their own best interests. Nothing else in this world survived.

Loving this type of writing style, very much hitting home with that feeling of isolation and desperate survival (yet not reaching "edgy" levels)
