Eyc429 liked an update for Shadow King

May 11, 2018

Hello, everyone -- I have some excellent news to share!

I got my official notification from Inkshares that "Shadow King" will move into production a the end of May/start of June!

I am BEYOND excited about this.

So, that means "Shadow King" will get reviewed by the copy editor, proofread, turned into a "real" book with a cover... and then, assuming there are no major delays or hiccups, we’ll have an official release in October 2018. As production advances, I’ll share a more specific date.

I hope you’re all as happy about this news as I am! I’ll send another update soon with more details about production and any other news I have to share.

Thank you all for sticking with me on this wild ride--we’re almost there and I can’t wait for all of you to get "Shadow King" in your hands!

More to come soon. Have a great weekend.

Best,
Susan

After reading this, the only complaint I have is that there isn't MORE of it!

When Damaus put his name in for the Traveler’s Cup he wasn’t expecting to be chosen.

Hey Travis! The biggest lesson I’ve learned from my travels is that the things I thought I knew were wrong. It’s true that the more you learn the less you know, and if you or I think we’ve got it figured out enough to "correct" another person’s culture, style, accent, style of life, preferences, etc etc – that confidence in our judgement is a good measure of our own ignorance. (This of course does not include universal morals like violence toward others, etc.)

Hello again, Congratulations on getting your book into production. It was it seems like ages ago that i commented on the lack of text messages on her phone after she has been missing for most of a year. What about missed calls? Who has been paying her phone bill? I know that if I don’t send the phone service provider a bribe for three or four months my phone stops working.

        Updates, Faoii! Listen up!

The Last Faoii has been out for 5 months, Faoii! Look at what we’ve done! Look at how much we’ve grown in just the last month alone!

We’re still pushing for those 50 Amazon reviews. Only 9 more to go. Let’s get there. The 6 month mark seems like the milestone for that goal.

Also, if you live near Montana (or want to visit) there’s a Renaissance Festival in Billings on June 2nd and 3rd. I’ll be there, selling and signing copies, and wearing my brand new set of armor. Come say hi! You can bring the copy you already have with you and I’ll sign it, too. I won’t be at Miscon this year, but will aim for next year instead. Sorry for the disappointment.

Need the Amazon link so you can leave your review? CLICK HERE. If you’ve never left a review before, let me know and I’ll send you a step-by-step guide with pictures. It takes all of us to win the war.

Oh! We also got our first-ever One-Star Review on Goodreads. At first I was kind of upset, but I’ve decided it’s actually a great review, so I’m leaving it. Haha! If you have a Goodreads account, consider leaving a review there, too, especially since our rating has plummeted with that one star. Or helping us climb the ranks in This List. As of right now, we’re #30, but if you think The Last Faoii is a diverse book worthy of recognition, then vote for it. Let’s let the world know who we are.

Shields up. The fight’s not over yet.

Sandra C ONeil liked an update for When I’m 64

          Happy President’s Day Readers,

Four score and seven years ago, okay okay, actually more like 18 months ago, the funding period ended for When I’m 64. The path to publication has been an exhilarating journey, but today I received the most exciting news: When I’m 64 is en route to the printer!  The final edits have been made, the proofread is complete and the full cover has been accepted by the team at Inkshares.  The book that you helped create will be on it’s way to you in no time!

This dream will become a reality in just a few short weeks. Thank you for all of the support and encouragement along the way!

Dear Frances Lee Hall friends and family,

Happy New Year! Thank you so much for your support for LILY LO. We wanted you to know that Frances’s friend May Key Lee designed a spectacular BOOK COVER for the story!  See it here: : https://www.inkshares.com/books/lily-lo-and-the-wonton-maker

Also, we are now going for the softer printing goal of 250 pre-orders. At 250, Inkshares will print and distribute a paperback LILY LO. They just don’t design a cover, or do an editorial revision. But both of these things have already been done!

We are only 63 pre-orers from our goal, thanks to you. Feel free to share the cover and the link. And best wishes for a healthy, happy and peaceful 2018!

Ann, Annemarie and Beyond the Margins.

Just checking in - I know it’s been a little while, but for good reasons! Reasons which have occupied some of my time, which I’ll tell you about in a minute!

Prophecy is hanging out in the editorial pipeline, over here - everything’s submitted and turned in, just waiting...

                Here’s the OTHER news:

                1) if you like romance (especially of the LGBTQ+ kind), urban fantasy, cats, witches, and hot chocolate - my novella Port in a Storm is available as of TONIGHT from Less Than Three Press! You can buy it here, and then come and have all the feelings about David and Colin with me! There will also be at least one sequel...

                2) I have also signed a contract with JMS Books for the thing I’ve been affectionately referring to as the Midwinter Demon Book, and that will be out in paperback AND digital formats in March! *screams and runs around happily* There will be musicians! M/M romance! Demons! Pizza! Rescuing of babies! Rock and roll!

                3) I have ALSO signed a contract for an academic book about the wonderful and sorely missed Terry Pratchett, which will be out from McFarland in 2018!

So it’s been a busy few months, over here. But thanks for sticking with me, and I hope you’re having a lovely December, all of you, full of joyfulness!

Hi there, I was going through my emails and found my order for this book. It’s been a year and I’m wondering if I missed a delivery or if the books never shipped? Is there any progress update on this?
