The Nerdist Collection's Contest seems to be hitting that barrier of hyper-drive and regular drive, and now gaining serious speed. We are in an intellectual horse race it would seem.  Where am I? Now I am back in the 15th spot with 125 readers. Top 5 are automatically published. My book is the odd man out; some have said reminiscent of  Cyberpunk with droplets of Philip K Dick, and you always should watch out for the odd ones. If you have not pulled over and really grabbed the wheel, then I urge you to step on the gas before it is too late. 11 days left to go. Septemebr 30th and this contest is over. Thank you so very much to all those who have taken the U-Turn with me thus far. This book is that much closer to being held in someone's hands or ogled by someone's eyes.

      This is a quick update, because I'm out and about shaking hands and doing what I can to keep the steam rolling. 

    First there is something that must be done: WE HIT 400!!!! In honor of the trend started by Welcome To Deadland! Here is my reaction!!

    Okay, Now that that is out of the way. We have a lot of followers left to reach out to. Chances are, if you are reading this update with a giant picture of me: You've already backed the book or you are following it. If you ARE following it. How about some feedback on what can flip you over into a full time reader. 

    More chapters from different characters? This is a multi-faction fantasy book. 
    How about... if you and 4 people all hop in and flag me, I'll offer my services as a GM to you via skype or in person if you are local in the area for a one shot game?
    Leave a comment, some feedback, or what you are looking for. I get that some of you may be nervous because of the contest. Don't let that hold you back. Demons need companions and Street Tacos need to be consumed... 

    For the people who backed the book: By now, we are at the point where serious outreach is required. Poke a friend who likes to read urban fantasy or conspiracy. We only have a few days left in the contest. If you have ANY ideas of where I can go, or something I do more than I already am. Email me! Also.... a few other authors have put together a reward for backers. I'll be getting it to you through facebook or other means, because it's for people who backed the book. An adult coloring book! Some of you like to color yes? I know if you stick a piece of paper in front of me I will draw on it... 

    I digress! The march continues! Join the Glorious Evolution! For the Horde! And then... the fire nation attacked...

      Finally! We're done with that slap-dash-I-need-a-bright-image-I-own-so-I-can-enter-this-contest-NOW "cover" that was never meant to be a cover.
