Laura says, "Oh, no, Mr. Bill!"
Laura says, "Do we ever see Jeff even mentioning girls? This seems kind of out of character for him." He has made some comments, yes, and there is a whole section, described by Scott, in a previous chapter that describes how much he was attracted to Julie.
At one point, she climbed onto his lap, but one of the chaperones stepped in and ended that.
Laura says, "Disco ball?" I was thinking more of strobe lights. Basically the same idea.
Lights flashed from all corners of the room
Laura says, "I’m thinking that Scott wants to do the mom. Could really spice things up." Yes, that’s what I’m saying. He’s also getting a glimpse of what Katie would be like when she’s older.
Her voice was warm and inviting.
Laura says, "You mean blue and green, like a typical guy would see it?" I disagree. Scott’s not a typical guy. He’s a geek and the child of an artist, so he would be used to hearing colors described differently. I’ll see if I can add something to a previous chapter, though, to make that clearer.
